The beehouse at Jean’s bees is located on our small farm near Ladybank in Fife. It offers the experience of deep relaxation through the power of the hive.
Guests are invited to leave their worries at the door and rest, relax, or even drift off to sleep while lying comfortably above the beehives. Inside the beehouse there is a living breathing blanket of sound, constant and calm, a contented murmur. This is created by thousands of tiny wingbeats blending into a harmony. Guests can also experience the restorative benefits of breathing in the air from the hives, which has the gentle sweet scent of honey, pollen and beeswax.

Apitherapy hut tour
Apitherapy is the use of honeybee products to support health. The beehouse uses the sound and scent of the bees and their hive to support wellbeing. The bees live in hives in the walls of the beehouse and are separate from you while you relax inside.
We also sell delicious local honey and beautiful pure beeswax candles. When you come for your experience if you wish you will be able to see and purchase these too. However, our delicious local honey always sells out fast!
Some people like to begin a session in the beehouse by reading to encourage the process of relaxation, so you may wish to bring a book when you come. We will have some poetry and short story books available. We also offer you a cold or warm drink and we will encourage you to switch off your devices and immerse yourself in the session.
